Wilcox & Son Automotive is owned and operated by Brandee Wilcox. As an ASE certified Master Technician, Brandee has 20 + years experience in the automotive repair industry. After spending the majority of those years working for a major area repair facility, Brandee decided to venture out on his own to be able to better service his community with the quality and professionalism they deserve. Realizing that in today’s tough economy, people needs repairs done without breaking the bank . . . Brandee is in business to serve our community with honest and affordable repair work. Coming from a hard working mid-western family, Brandee knows the value of honesty, trust, and of a job well done. That’s why we’re sure once you meet him . . . he’ll be your mechanic for life. Certified in all areas of automotive repair and educated in Advance Engine Diagnostics, Brandee has the knowledge,, experience and equipment you can rely on. Assisting Brandee with the daily shop operations is his wife of 18 years, Rebecca (Becki) Wilcox. Becki has a strong background in customer service and sales. Quick to offer you a smile and a story, she makes sure every customer knows they are appreciated and the most valuable asset to their business.
We know there are many fears and concerns about mechanics and repair shops . . . many people feel repair shops are out to rip them off, and mechanics are selling repair work you don’t need. The unfortunate truth is there are places out there that do take advantage of people who don’t know about their cars. That is why establishing a relationship with a shop and mechanic you can trust is extremely important. At Wilcox & Son, we won’t sell you ANYTHING that your car doesn’t need. We will take the time to explain to you (in plain English) why your car may need certain repairs and we will thoroughly explain any process or procedure we perform. It’s important to us that, as our customer, you are well informed and always feel comfortable. We’ll always give you options when they are available and do our best to make the world of auto repair less confusing and more understandable. We will never use high pressure sales tactics and we will always treat you with the respect and fairness you deserve . . . and that’s a promise! Meet OUR TEAM
Brandee Owner / Master Technician
Our shop commander in chief, Brandee spent his childhood years growing up in and around his dads welding machine shop in rural Wisconsin. Like any young boy growing up around a machine shop, he loved playing with tools and fixing anything he could get his hands on. This very naturally lead to his career as an auto technician. Brandee has spent more than 20 years perfecting his skills and excelling in his trade as a Master technician. On the rare occasions you don’t find Brandee at the shop he enjoys spending time with his family, camping, and navigating Florida’s waterways on his boat. Brandee has never met a stranger and loves providing his customers with exceptional quality on their repairs.
Becki – Operations Manager
The leading lady of the shop, Becki has been married to Brandee for 21 years. Born in New Jersey and raised in the Dr. Phillips area of Orlando. She has spent most of her adult life working in customer service, first for her parents, then as a business owner herself and now full time alongside Brandee at Wilcox & Son. Becki keeps the back-of-house shop operations running smoothly and handles the shops marketing and social media presence. She most enjoys working with their customers and you can be sure to receive a warm smile and phenomenal customer service… it’s in her blood. On her downtime you can almost always find Becki enjoying the beach, camping or boating with Brandee and their two kids, Brandon & Bri.
Alexis (Alex) – Automotive Technician
Alex is Brandee’s right-hand man around the shop. A UTI graduate with an occupational studies degree in Automotive Repair, he has been a technician with Wilcox & Son since 2013. Alex was born and raised in San German, Puerto Rico. Being bilingual, he is always here to assist our clients who speak Spanish. Alex is the proud father of three beautiful children with his fiance Alyssa. On his days off, you will find him enjoying time with his family. Alex is also an avid pool player.
Brandon – The IT Guy
The “son” half of Wilcox & Son Automotive. Brandon works full time in IT tech support here in Orlando. He is our go-to IT guy here at the shop as well, coming by often to save his IT challenged parents when any computer related issues arise. Brandon is an avid truck and off road enthusiast, so you will often find him here at the shop making alterations and improvements to truck along side his dad.
Brianna (Bri) –
The youngest of Brandee & Becki’s children, Bri is a full time college student who attends UCF and is majoring in Psychology. Brianna also works for The University of Central Florida. While you won’t see Bri around the shop a lot with her busy schedule, her and her brother are 100% the inspiration behind Wilcox & Son Automotive!
